While on the Texas Songwriters cruise,
you'll have to take time to enjoy the ship, or maybe we
should call it the floating resort. You will be pampered,
entertained and waited on the minute you walk on board.
Here is some of what you can expect to find on the Carnival
Ecstasy.
Sit back and relax on the ship's huge
outdoor areas. There are 2 pool decks, featuring whirlpools,
snack bars, shaded tables and lots of lounge chairs. You'll
also be entertained by live on-deck entertainers and bands
that will definitely put you in a Caribbean state of mind.
If you're bringing some young cruisers, they'll be able
to splash up a storm in their own wading pool, its one
of the many features of the Camp Carnival program which
offers a wide choice of supervised activities for kids
2 to 14. For teens 15 - 17, they can participate in Club
02.

drink your coffee in the morning while you watch the
beautiful teal blue water, you should get an ocean
view cabin. |

If you think you'll be too busy to be in your room,
an interior cabin works just fine. |
Your cabin will be airing first-run movies daily.
You'll find a mint on your pillow and the sheets
turned down for you when you decide that you've
had too much fun for the day, and you will enjoy
24 hour room service. |
Do you like shopping?
You'll definitely get that opportunity
when we port in both Cozumel and Playa Del Carmen, but
the ship also provides that. The Galleria shopping mall
sells all types of gifts, fine jewelry, fashions, perfumes,
and souvenirs that are all duty free.
How about the food?

All conference attendees are scheduled to eat dinner
at the 7:00pm serving, to facilitate networking,
but you do not have to do that. Food is available
24 hours a day on the ship, and you've got lots
off options. You'll be able to partake in fine dining
at the 7:00 serving and if you can't decide if you
want the prime rib or the lobster, order them both.
All of your meals are included in your conference/cruise
cost. If you prefer casual dining, go to the bistro,
which also has a sushi bar and late night buffets.
