Welcome to the official website of the 7th Annual Texas Songwriters Cruise!


This event is a combination Caribbean Cruise and Songwriting Conference that brings aspiring songwriters from the USA and abroad, together with some of the biggest publishers, hit songwriters, and music industry pro's in the business. In this, our 7th year of putting on this event, we will be sailing from Galveston Texas with ports of call in Grand Cayman, Jamaica & Cozumel.

Attendees eat and attend happy hours with the pro's, receive one-on-one song critique opportunities through pitch sessions, have opportunities to ask questions, and attend seminars to learn about the craft and business of songwriting from proven music professionals. What To Expect

It's hard to believe, but we've made the conference even better than previous events. Take a look!
  • ATTEND - Attend our Songwriter in the Round event, where our pro songwriters play their hit songs and tell you the stories behind the songs
  • PITCH - Each participant receives 3 song pitches to our on-board pro's where you receive immediate feedback on your song (publishing deals have been signed as a result of this opportunity)
  • MORE PITCHES - Each participant receives 3 additional song pitch opportunities to top TV/Film publishers and commercial music pro's through our absentee publisher program (publishing deals have been signed as a result of this event as well)
  • WRITE - Attend seminars where you learn to craft better lyrics and melody from music pro's with an impressive catalog of hit songs
  • LEARN - Learn about creating great demos that get attention Learn about rhyming schemes, separating sections of your song, making your chorus really stand out, and other music crafting techniques
  • PERFORM - Attend open-mic opportunities where you perform your songs with other aspiring songwriters
  • MINGLE - Attend meals and happy hours with aspiring songwriters from around the world and with our on-board music pro's
